Hotels & Hospitality

A digital guest experience that feels like your property.

City of Hats can give guests one branded place for property information, concierge and service requests, local guidance, and appropriate secure communication. Staff can handle configured requests through Operations and supported external channels through Unified Inbox.

What this solution does

From lobby question to owned service request

A guest should be able to find what they need without installing several apps or calling every department. A configured property portal can organize information and requests, while the hotel keeps its property-management, reservation, payment, and safety systems in their proper roles.

A clearer concierge

Present property services, local information, and contact paths in one branded experience.

Requests reach an owner

Route configured housekeeping, maintenance, dining, or guest-service requests into the appropriate staff workflow.

Support international guests

Offer localized interface content, with human review for safety, policy, and legally important information.

Core workflows

Useful before, during, and after the stay

The property chooses the modules and integrations. Availability, pricing, inventory, payment, and reservation truth should remain in the approved authoritative systems.

Property guide

Publish current amenities, hours, policies, directions, and frequently requested information.

Concierge requests

Give guests a structured way to ask for recommendations or assistance.

Room and service requests

Route configured housekeeping, maintenance, dining, or amenity requests to the responsible team.

Guest communication

Use an approved channel for follow-up and move sensitive exchanges to a protected workflow when appropriate.

Multilingual presentation

Provide localized content while the property reviews safety instructions and important guest terms.

Supported messenger intake

Pair with Unified Inbox for supported business messaging channels, subject to provider rules and boundaries.

How it works

Connect physical hospitality to digital service

The best entry point depends on the moment: booking confirmation, pre-arrival message, lobby sign, in-room card, NFC tag, or staff invitation.

01

Map guest moments

Identify the recurring questions, service requests, languages, escalation points, and departments involved.

02

Configure property touchpoints

Choose modules, branding, QR or NFC placement, staff routing, translations, integrations, and content ownership.

03

Pilot by property or floor

Measure guest comprehension, request routing, response time, accessibility, operational load, and fallback behavior before expansion.

Security and privacy

Guest convenience needs operational safeguards

A hotel deployment should minimize unnecessary personal data, separate public information from confidential communication, restrict staff access, and maintain independent safety and continuity procedures.

Collect less

A room-service or property-information workflow should not automatically request identity or stay data it does not need.

Secure escalation

Move sensitive documents or conversations into a supported protected workflow instead of leaving them on a public form or external messenger.

Department ownership

Configure and review which teams may see each request, including outsourced or multi-property staff.

Offline and emergency fallback

The property needs clear alternatives for safety, urgent assistance, outages, guests without compatible devices, and accessibility needs.

Scope clarity

Important boundary

A strong fit when

Your property wants a coherent branded service layer and can assign owners for content, departments, access, integrations, guest support, and fallback channels.

What it does not replace

It is not automatically a PMS, central reservation system, booking engine, payment gateway, digital room key, emergency system, or complete hotel application.

Confirm before deployment

Confirm PMS and service integrations, payment boundary, guest identity needs, staff routing, accessibility, language review, retention, multi-property access, emergency fallback, and provider terms.

Questions teams ask before a demo

Product scope reviewed: 10 August 2026

Do guests need to install an app?

Not for every portal interaction. Guests can open configured browser experiences through a link, QR code, or NFC touchpoint. Protected Hat workflows may require a Hat when that capability is needed.

Does this replace our property-management system?

No. The PMS, reservation, payment, access-control, or service system may remain authoritative. Integrations and hand-offs are defined for the deployment.

Can guests contact us through WhatsApp, Messenger, or LINE?

Supported business accounts can be evaluated for Unified Inbox. Those networks keep their own security, data-handling, pricing, and policy boundaries.

Can the portal support several languages?

Localized content can be configured. Safety instructions, legal notices, charges, cancellation terms, and important property policies should receive qualified review.

What happens during an outage or emergency?

The hotel must maintain visible alternative contact and emergency procedures. The portal should not be the only route for urgent assistance, accessibility support, or life-safety communication.

Start with the guest journey, not another app download.
